Christmas Shopping Apps and Websites to Save You Time and MoneyIt’s hard to believe but Christmas is fast approaching! If you start doing some smart shopping and planning now, you can give thoughtful gifts on a tight budget.

To make it even easier for you to save money this Christmas I’ve rounded up the top seven Christmas shopping tools that will save you both time and money.

# 1 – Slick Deals (APP)

Slick deals is a website where community members and moderators can share good deals from retailers. They also offer coupons for a wide range of stores.

You can check them out online at SlickDeals.net or download their mobile app.

# 2 – Shopular (APP)

Shopular is another of my all-time favorite apps.

Here’s how it works. Download the app, type in the store you’re in and Shopular will bring up a list of coupons for the applicable store. Simply show the phone coupon to your cashier and you’ll instantly save.

This app came in handy for me when I was school shopping for my youngest daughter.

# 3 – Invisible Hand (Browser Extension)

Invisible Hand is a browser extension with a-mazing features!

You can download it as an extension to Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox and it does price comparisons in the background for you.

Let’s say for instance you’re shopping online at Walmart. Invisible Hand will automatically check other stores to see if you can find a better price on the item you’re interested in. If they find a better price a notification will pop up at the top of your browser.

You can download Invisible Hands here.

# 4 – Hip2Save (Blog)

My favorite deals aggregator blog is hands down, Hip2Save.

Hip2Save keeps up all the latest deals both online and in stores. If you’re looking to score some awesome deals this Christmas I would highly encourage you to follow this site.

# 5 – Gift Professor (APP)

Gift professor is an App you can download to your smartphone. It’s meant to help you find the perfect gift for the hard to please recipients.

You simply download the app, answer a few questions, and Gift Professor will recommend some gifts.

# 6 – Santa’s Bag (APP)

Santa’s Bag is an app that allows you to create Christmas lists, set budgets, and track your progress. With this App you can stay completely organized and on budget!

It’s also rated five stars in the ITunes store.

# 7 – Swagbucks

Let’s now focus on how to make some extra Christmas money! Swagbucks is a website (and mobile app) that allows it’s user to search the web, take surveys, participate in polls, plus more to earn Swagbucks.

These Swagbucks can then be traded in for gift cards. (My favorite is the $5 Amazon gift card which only costs 450 Swagbucks.) Just using Swagbucks as a search engine is an incredible easy way to earn yourself some extra spending cash.

Save Some Money

Christmas is as expensive as you want it to be. If you set a budget and look for creative ways to save (like utilizing the above tools!) you’ll stay on track with your spending and come up with thoughtful, well received gifts.

What’s your favorite Christmas shopping app or website?
